WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- A gas line that was ruptured at Eastern Connecticut State University has been repaired.

Yankee Gas employees were at the school all night fixing a line that was accidentally struck Thursday afternoon.

The line was ruptured when crews were pulling up stakes to remove a tent.

The leak shut down part of campus near some dorms but it affected neither the dorms nor the school dining halls.
