Chiropractor Accused Of Harassing Stroke Victim Due In Court

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- A New Haven chiropractor is due in court Thursday, accused of harassing a stroke victim.Steve Piserchia has been charged with harassment in connection with a series of bizarre phone calls to a Wethersfield woman.Police said he admits to making the calls, which he called childish.
The woman is the founder of a chiropractic stroke awareness group.Fifteen years ago, she had a stroke after getting her neck adjusted.She told NBC30 the calls were retaliation for her attempts to bring awareness to the problem.
