After the argument, the teen allegedly left the court and returned 10 minutes later, dressed in black and carrying that rifle, police said.
According to witnesses, he shot several times at the group, but they were able to wrestle him to the ground and take away the rifle. Troopers arrived to find a man holding the teen down.No one was injured by the shots fired. The 16-year-old was rushed to Kimball Hospital in Putnam for head injuries. He’s now in police custody, facing attempted murder, reckless endangerment and drug charges.Because of the teen's age, police and the courts did not release his name or any other information about him.
