Crews Respond To Second 2-Alarm Hartford Fire
Hartford fire crews battled a second two-alarm fire at 3150 Main St. in Hartford Wednesday morning.The fire burned in a three-story multifamily home. Officials said they have accounted for the 10 people who live in the home.Firefighters said the fire was tough to fight and that it had to be combated from the outside because the building was structurally unsafe.
Crews had to work fast to contain it, because Aero All-Gas Co. is next door to the burning home.Several streets are blocked off in the area.Crews also fought a two-alarm fire on South Whitney Street and Farmington Avenue in Hartford Wednesday morning. That fire is contained. One firefighter was treated for exhaustion and one person was sent to an area hospital.Stay tuned to NBC 30 News for updated information.
