The tournament features 300 teams from 31 countries.

The competitors are of all shapes, sizes and colors.

The technology has advanced significantly since the tournament started in 1997.

This year, the game requires robots to see the orange soccer balls by themselves before they can move in to kick.

Event organizers have big dreams. They said they want to have a robot team that can beat the World Cup champs by 2050.
