WACO, Texas -- A Texas man is dead two days after being shocked twice by police with a stun gun, an incident that was caught on tape by a police cruiser's dashcam.Police said they were responding to a disturbance call when they found Jeremy Davis, 24, naked in a restaurant parking lot. They said they shocked Davis after he became irate and resisted the officers.
Davis then snatched the probes, or metal stingers, out of the stun gun and a second jolt sent him to the ground, authorities said. The officers involved have been suspended while the incident is under investigation. An investigation into Davis' death is ongoing, but according to police, an autopsy is impossible because Davis' family took his body to a funeral home and it was embalmed. The Bellmead Police Department said it will continue to use the stun guns.
