A 55-year-old Uncasville man was killed in a crash on Bride Brook Road in East Lyme late Sunday morning.
State police said John Williams, 55, of Uncasville, was riding a motorcycle south on Bride Brook Road in East Lyme just before noon when he crossed the double line in the center of the road and hit an SUV.
Williams’ bike was then struck by a motorcycle driven by Mark Bass, 31, of New London, police said.
Williams sustained head and leg injuries during the crash and died at the hospital a few hours after the crash, state police said.
Bass suffered leg injuries, which state police said are suspected to be serious.
