Gas Line Puncture Closes Roads In Cheshire

A construction worker drove a pole into the road in the area of Route 10 and Jinny Hill Road in Cheshire Friday morning.

The pole punctured a natural gas line. Route 10 is shut down between Route 42 and King Road.

There are no injuries.

The Department of Transportation and Connecticut Natural Gas officials are at the scene.
